Meet the Team

Dr. Kent Cawley

Dr. Cawley brings over twenty-five years of experience in emergency management and technology adoption across both the public and private sectors. Beginning his career in the crowd management industry, he developed a lasting commitment to public safety and crisis coordination through real-world exposure to complex environments. He has since supported preparedness and response efforts at all levels of government, providing technical and operational support to state and local government agencies during major disasters such as the Deepwater Horizon oil spill and Hurricane Harvey, as well as National Special Security Events including President Obama’s inauguration and multiple Super Bowls. His academic background includes a B.S. in Emergency Administration and Planning, an M.S. in Technology, and a Doctor of Business Administration with a specialization in Homeland Security Leadership and Policy.

Over his career, Dr. Cawley has also served as a police instructor at the University of North Texas and earned certifications as a firefighter, emergency medical technician, and hazardous materials technician-credentials that reflect his broad understanding of emergency response disciplines.
